Nomad visa finder

Enter what you earn and where you want to go. This returns the programmes you qualify for out of all 53 we track — and the ones you'd qualify for that lead nowhere: visas that were closed, announced and never opened, or that grant no route to residency no matter how long you hold them.

Every figure comes from the issuing government's own page, with the date we last checked it. Where a government publishes no figure we say so rather than guessing — a blank is never a "no". How we verify this.

You'd qualify — but these lead nowhere

Real, open programmes you can apply for today. None of them grants permanent residency or citizenship, however long you hold them. Fine if you want to stay a while; wrong if you're trying to settle.

No income figure to check you against

These match your other criteria and none of them sets an income line we can test you against. For most, that is because the government publishes no figure — so we can't tell you whether you clear it, and neither can anyone else. A few instead publish a different kind of bar, such as savings or a deposit, and where they do the card says so. Read the country page before assuming either way.

These aren't real programmes

Closed, announced and never enacted, or never existed at all. They're listed because other comparison sites still run "how to apply" pages for them — knowing a visa isn't available is worth as much as knowing it is.

Common questions

How do I know which digital nomad visa I qualify for?

Compare your monthly income against each programme's published requirement, then check that the programme is actually open — those are different questions and most comparisons only answer the first. Of the 53 programmes we track, 4 are closed, were announced and never enacted, or never existed, and a further 21 are real and open but grant no permanent residency or citizenship however long you hold them. This finder separates all four answers instead of returning one list.

What does it mean when a visa has no income requirement listed?

It means the government publishes no figure, which is not the same as there being no requirement and is certainly not a refusal. 10 of the open programmes we track publish no income figure at all. We show those separately rather than counting them as matches or dropping them, because inventing a number would be the exact failure this dataset exists to avoid.

Can I stay permanently on a digital nomad visa?

Usually not. 21 of the 49 open programmes we track grant no route to permanent residency and no route to citizenship — you can renew for a few years and then you must leave. That distinction is rarely made on comparison sites, because the firms writing them sell the application rather than the outcome.

Where do these figures come from?

Each record is sourced to the issuing government's own page wherever one exists — a handful cite the official portal we did use — and carries the date we last checked it, both shown on every result. We re-check every official source weekly and publish what changed on our changelog. The full dataset is published under CC BY 4.0, so anyone can verify it or reuse it with attribution.

Use this data

Everything behind this finder is published as an open dataset under CC BY 4.0 — free to use, including commercially. The one condition is attribution. If you're building something that needs visa rules, take the file rather than scraping the pages: the GlobeNomad visa dataset.

Rules change. We re-check every official source weekly and publish what moved on the changelog. Spotted something wrong here? Tell us — corrections are the whole point.
