Taiwan digital nomad visa
Taiwan offers world-class food, safety, fast internet, and an affordable, well-connected base in Taipei. Its dedicated digital nomad visa — expanded in January 2026 from six months to a full two years — is a clean, purpose-built route for remote workers, with income tiers by age and a savings requirement. High earners can alternatively use the Employment Gold Card.
